Course Overview

This course teaches students to create and administer Hyperion Planning Applications. It begins with an introduction to Hyperion Planning and Enterprise Performance Management Architect. Then the focus turns to developing the skills needed to create and manage dimensions with EPMA, deploy applications, manage security, and develop data forms, task lists, and business rules.

The course consists of a series of lessons, each one consisting of demonstrations and hands-on practices that reinforce the fundamental concepts and encourage students to interact with the Oracle RDBMS.

• To enable students to set up and administer security
• To develop the knowledge to create data forms, business rules, and task lists

Prerequisites

• Basic Microsoft Windows skills

• Working knowledge of Essbase recommended
