Course Overview
This course introduces Oracle Discoverer Administrator. As Discoverer administrators, students learn how to install, maintain and customize the end-user layer, how to create business areas and folders (simple, custom and complex) and define analytical facilities for end users. Students also learn about the different types of connection mechanisms and end-user layers supported by Discoverer and how to control and secure the user access to the end-user layer. Students learn how to use materialized views and automated summary management to facilitate high-performance reporting. Students learn how to use Oracle enterprise manager application server control to configure OracleAS Discoverer.
