Learn Your Lesson and Stop the Insanity (Business Level)
Seems crazy - but it is true. Not completing the lessons learned stage of a project puts your organization and each of your team members at risk of repeating the same mistakes over and over again. It is during the lessons learned stage when team members evaluate how well the process worked, what processes didn't work, and where and how things should be done differently.
This presentation will discuss what activities are performed during the lessons learned activity, the benefits of and how to perform a lessons learned session. We'll talk about who should be included in the lessons learned sessions, and how to translate the lessons into process improvements. Additionally, we will include a few lessons from our own the lessons learned process!

Top 10 Things Your Project Manager Should Be Telling You (Business Level)
Most project managers establish a routine at the beginning of a project, in which they outline and deliver regular status reports. And while knowing the
events of what occurred during the last week are important, this information doesn't really provide the executive team with the information they really
need about the health and welfare of a given project. This presentation will talk about the types of information that the project team needs to
communicate, when the information needs to be communicated, and outlines 10 key things that are not typically found in a project status report that can be
used to gauge the effectiveness of the team and the true progress of a project.

Discovery Phase: Why It is the Most Important Stage of a Project (Business Level)
Project success factors are not limited to "on time and on budget". Factors such as application performance, user acceptance, maintainability, and compliance are key factors that influence the tone of a project. Assumptions made about the involvement of key project resources may not be valid and need to be communicated and validated. These factors, when known in advance, shape how the project team is staffed, the overall design of the solution, the project execution, types of test cases that need to be defined and completed; and lastly how the deliverable will function and be maintained once completed.
This webinar will discuss key areas your organization should be evaluating and verifying when defining the project; and before any line of code is written or application configured. Regardless of the project technology or the project type (Data Warehouse, BI, COTS implementation, or custom code) these areas are relevant and will, at some point, come into play. Ensure that you are prepared and can react accordingly.
