TUSC is currently looking to add talented Oracle Technical Application Consultants to our growing consulting team. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in an Oracle Applications environment with recent skills in Oracle release 9.0 and 11i.
Job Requirements
3-5 years of Oracle experience with at least one full life cycle Oracle 9.0 implementation/upgrade project completion in a Technical role. Previous consulting experience is a plus.
Skills Required
3-5 Years Experience with Oracle Development in an Oracle Applications environment in terms of design and development of Oracle based custom applications, interfaces, reports, and data conversions, is highly desirable. Experience with Oracle Internet Development Suite toolkit, minimally Oracle 6i version or later, which includes forms, reporting, PL/SQL packages/procedures based programming for custom applications, data conversions, and interface development. Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and developing new workflow and/or modifying existing workflows in either an Oracle Application or pure Oracle Technology environment. Must be knowledgeable in underlying Oracle Technology Stack and Oracle Applications database architecture with regard to E-Business Suite module schemas/products, standard (API's) application program interfaces, data elements, tables, and views as basis for troubleshooting, data conversion, interfaces, reporting and development. Experience with Oracle 9iAS Portal including development of Oracle Portal solutions for organization intranets and extranets. Key skills include creation of custom Oracle Applications (Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Discoverer queries) and deploying in Oracle Portal environment. Also includes integration non-Oracle applications into Oracle Portal environment. Experience with UNIX shell scripting. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong leadership skills, experience, and a successful track record of leading a team of resources toward objectives. *Experience with deploying concurrent processes and custom development in Oracle Applications 11i E-Business Suite with use of System Administration and Application Developer module. Experience in the functional and technical design and documentation of Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications including use of document revision control. Must have experience opening, managing, and resolving Oracle TAR's with Oracle Support. Must have some degree of Oracle Applications 11i implementation and upgrade experience in Oracle Applications E-Business Suite consulting role, which encompasses process analysis; process design, mapping, and re-engineering; process/software gap analysis and resolution; troubleshooting and issue resolution; Oracle Applications module configuration and use; and test script creation and testing.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills, which demonstrates confidence and fosters a "Trusted Advisor" relationship with the client. Oracle Technical 11i certification.
Responsibilities
Implement and/or upgrade Oracle Application solutions to our clients. Design & build the specific application business process model to meet the business requirements; responsible for the process related task of the deliverables and application set up. Provide technical expertise in application & industry standards. Identify tools and techniques within the Oracle Application in designing the solutions.
Education
BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related degree.
