Job Description
TUSC is looking for a consultant that has at least 5 years of experience with Oracle Applications 11i implementation and upgrade experience in Oracle Manufacturing/Distribution/Supply Chain Functional consulting role, which encompasses process analysis; process design, mapping, and re-engineering; process/software gap analysis and resolution; troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Job Requirements
Candidates must have experience with Oracle Applications 11i module configuration and process use for the following modules: - Order Management - Shipping Execution - Inventory - Bill of Material including Routings - Purchasing - Planning; MRP, Reorder Point, Min/Max and Master - Production Scheduling (MPS) - Discrete Manufacturing - Flow Manufacturing - Process Manufacturing (OPM) - Work in Process (WIP) for the 3 manufacturing types - Discrete, Flow and OPM - Quality - Warehouse Management System (WMS). Previous consulting experience is a plus.
Skills Required
Must be able to develop test scripts for the Manufacturing/Distribution modules and perform the required testing. For the OPM module must have a working knowledge of Formulas, Recipes, Routings, Costing and Production reporting. Must be knowledgeable in underlying Oracle Applications database architecture with regard to Manufacturing/Distribution modules schemas/products, standard (API's) application program interfaces, data elements, tables, and views as basis for troubleshooting, data conversion and reporting support. Must have experience in the functional design and design review of Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications. Must have industry specific knowledge in manufacturing or distribution. Must have experience opening, managing, and resolving Oracle TAR's with Oracle Support. Must be familiar with Oracle AIM templates and methodology.
Skills Preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills, which demonstrates confidence and fosters a "Trusted Advisor" relationship with the client. Oracle Manufacturing 11i certification.
Responsibilities
Implement and/or upgrade Oracle Application solutions to our clients. Design & build the specific application business process model to meet the business requirements; responsible for the process related task of the deliverables and application set up. Provide Manufacturing Functional expertise in application & industry standards. Identify tools and techniques within the Oracle Application in designing the solutions.
Education
BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related degree.
Travel Requirements
Must be open to 100% travel.
